By using Face & Features (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. The site is operated by Umair Amjad ("we", "us").
What the site offers
The site provides free tools that estimate facial feature shapes and personal color characteristics from a photo, your camera or your own answers, plus guides with styling ideas. There are no accounts and no paid features.
Results are estimates
Tool results are automated estimates for styling inspiration only. They can be affected by your camera, lens, angle, lighting, hair, makeup and many other factors, and they can be wrong. Face shape, eye shape and seasonal color categories are styling conventions, not scientific or medical classifications. Please read our disclaimer.
No professional or medical advice
Nothing on the site is medical, cosmetic-surgery, dermatological, optical or other professional advice. Always ask a qualified professional about anything related to your health or appearance-altering procedures.
Acceptable use
You agree to:
- use the tools only with photos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly agreed;
- not use the site to judge, rank, harass or discriminate against anyone;
- not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale or reverse engineer the site in a way that harms it or other users.
Intellectual property
The site’s text, illustrations, design and code are owned by us or our licensors, except where noted (for example, open-source software used under its license). You may share links and short quotes with attribution. Please don’t copy whole guides or illustrations without permission.
Result cards you download are yours to share.
Third-party services and links
The site uses third-party services, such as hosting and, where enabled, advertising. Ads and links to other websites are provided for convenience; we don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party content, products or practices.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the site's operator is based. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections that the law where you live gives you and that can't be waived by agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
