Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Face & Features (“we”, “us”) handles when you use this website, and the choices you have. The short version: your photos never leave your device, we don’t ask you to create an account, and the site is funded by advertising.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by Umair Amjad, the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@faceandfeatures.com.
Photos and face measurements stay on your device
All of our tools (face shape, eye shape, nose shape, lip shape, color analysis and the undertone test) run entirely inside your web browser.
- When you choose a photo or use your camera, the image is processed on your device by software that downloads to your browser. The image is never sent to our servers or anyone else’s.
- We don’t store your photo. It exists only in your browser’s memory while the tool is open and is discarded when you start over, close the page or leave.
- Measurements and results (for example “oval face shape” or “soft autumn”) are calculated on your device and are not sent to us, and are never included in analytics or advertising data.
- If you download a result card, it’s created on your device and saved only where you choose. By default it doesn’t include your photo.
- Camera access is requested only when you choose “Use camera”, and only for this site. You can refuse or revoke it at any time in your browser settings; the tools still work with a photo you choose from your device, or in manual mode.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information needed to deliver pages securely, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to operate and protect the service and isn’t used by us to identify you.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It’s cookieless: it doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t use local storage to track you, and doesn’t build a profile of you across websites. It never receives images, measurements or tool results.
We do not use Google Analytics.
Advertising and cookies
This site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies (and similar technologies) to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

Ads are never shown with, and never receive, your photo, measurements or results.
Cookies we set ourselves
We don’t set any cookies of our own, and our tools don’t save anything in your browser’s storage. Tool answers and results disappear when you close or reload the page.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. Please don’t send photos of your face.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or state laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Because we don’t collect photos, results or accounts, we usually hold very little about you. To make a request, email hello@faceandfeatures.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here.
